There are a few things to think about when starting a data project such as:

  • What kind of data do you need?
  • Do you need a number or statistic to support a claim? How can you get that number?
  • Will you need quantitative or qualitative data for the project?
  • Will you be reusing preexisting data or collecting new data entirely?
