Terms of Use for Group and Single User Study Rooms: 

  • Rooms are available to current BYU students only, who are required to use their BYU ID to reserve the rooms
  • Group Study Rooms are available for two or more students
  • Single User Study Rooms are limited to one student
  • Study rooms are available for study related to BYU courses. They are not set up for other purposes such as taking lengthy exams, job interviews, recruiting meetings, social events, etc.
  • Students may reserve study rooms for up to two hours per day
  • Study rooms may be reserved up to one week in advance
  • Reservations are forfeited if users fail to show up within 15 minutes of their reservation time
  • Students are welcome to make use of unoccupied, unreserved study rooms, and should enter their reservation on the schedule in order to secure the room for their use
  • Food and drink are not permitted in study rooms
  • Study room users should not disconnect or damage any equipment installed in the rooms
  • Students are not permitted to automate or circumvent the reservation process in any way
  • Students who do not abide by these policies may forfeit the right to reserve library study rooms
  • Questions about the use of study rooms should be directed to the Study Room Coordinator by emailing schedulersupport@byu.edu
