The HBLL Family-friendly Area is located on level 3 (entry level) in the library and adjacent to the General Help Desk and Snack Zone.

There are great facilities in this large and light space which features windows low enough for tots to see outside to the courtyard or inside to see the students passing by in the hall. There are spill proof and kid carpeted floor spaces, miniature tables and chairs, an awesome fort and a train/car/truck wall and floor layout. There is a quiet space with comfy rockers for nursing moms, a changing table, a snack table, restrooms (both adult and child), and a building phone to call for help in case of accidents or other problems. There are doors to define the area and discourage escape.

Come visit and bring your little ones.

CAUTION:  Children who are tall enough to reach the automatic door opener (or who have the capability of moving a chair to use as a step stool) have, at times, opened the entry doors and have left the room without a parent knowing.
