Book Reviews

Book reviews are usually published in academic journals: generally those journals publishing subject matter that coincides with the book being reviewed.

Talk to the Subject Librarian who specializes in the topic of your book. They can help you choose a database to find book reviews.  Guides on the library home page will help you find the Subject Librarian you need to talk to.

Two databases that do have full-text book reviews (be sure to login to library website for access) are the New York Review of Books and JSTOR.

Find the New York Review of Books & JSTOR in the Databases list on the website or click the links above.

JSTOR has full-text reviews from academic journals going much further back in time than most online indexes.
