SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats.  It is a great tool for assessing a company’s outlook and strategy. In the Company & Finance Research Guide locate the SWOT Analysis resource box. The databases listed (Business Source Premier EBSCO, Gale Business Insights, MarketLine, and Passport) include many types of information about companies and industries.

To find the SWOT analysis for a company, search the company name in the main search bar within each database. The SWOT analysis may be a section on the company profile page or found in the table of contents of a company report.
