There are a few ways to request an item be added to the library's collections:

Course Related: If the request is for a course, consider using the Course Reserve Student Request form located here: https://forms.office.com/r/ZwPGmBzH6s.

Time-Sensitive research: Items that are not owned by the library can be requested through the "Request an Item" function in your library account (https://lib.byu.edu/account/request/book). Requests submitted here may be filled by obtaining a loan from another library or may be purchased by our library for inclusion in the permanent collection. You are also welcome to reach out to the subject librarian responsible for the area of study that the book would be part of. Librarians are the primary decision makers for what is added to the library's collections. Contact information for individual librarians can be found here: https://lib.byu.edu/directory/.

Personal Reading: You are also welcome to Suggest A Book for purchase. Decisions regarding purchase are made at the discretion of library staff.
