We have access to company reports through several different databases:

  • Business Source Premier (EBSCO): Search the company name in the main search box or browse companies using the “Company Profiles” link.  These reports include an overview and history of the company, products and services, competitors, and SWOT analysis.
  • Statista: Under the Reports dropdown menu, select Companies & Products reports.  From there, search for the company name to access a report that includes a company overview, financial data, segments, and competitors.
  • Morningstar: Use the main search bar to find a public company.  Investment and equity reports for companies can be downloaded using the icon in the upper right corner.  The reports include detailed information on investment quality, characteristics, and outlook.
  • Mergent Intellect: Use the main search bar to find public and private companies.  Company profiles and reports include company histories, financial information over time, and executive biographies.

For links to all these databases, check out the Company & Finance Guide.  For additional questions, come to the Social Sciences Help Desk on Level 1 or contact the BYU business librarians.
