OverDrive has e-books available in Kindle format and the checkout is an easy process which will redirect you to Amazon and then the book will show up on your Kindle.
We also have many full-text academic e-books available through Library databases such as ebrary. It is possible to access ebrary content on the Kindle, but downloading content for offline reading is complicated by Amazon's proprietary software. Instructions from ebrary for the Kindle Fire can be found at http://support.ebrary.com/kb/ebrary-books-on-kindle-fire/.
Use Amazon's "Send to Kindle" functionality to send e-book content that is available in PDF format to your device. A list of our e-book databases with available downloading options and file types is available at http://ask.lib.byu.edu/a.php?qid=379846.
A number of our e-book databases also have apps for accessing their content via Android or Apple devices. For more information on accessing from these mobile devices see http://ask.lib.byu.edu/a.php?qid=362394.
