Although the Harold B. Lee Library does not have a direct subscription to The Economist, students can access the magazine for free through databases like ProQuest.
To access The Economist, do the following:
1. Go to the Business and Economics Library homepage at lib.byu.edu/business.
2. On the right-hand side, click on the "Economics" subject guide.
3. Click on the "Article Databases and Background" tab at the top of the page.
4. The Economist box will be visible in the bottom left, click on the Proquest link to access past and recent editions of the Economist.
Through the link, you will be able to search within The Economist by topic, company, date, and other parameters.
If you have further questions on accessing The Economist, check out The Economist video tutorial accessible through the Business and Economics Library homepage or by clicking here. Also, feel free to stop by the Business Help Desk the first floor of the Harold B. Lee Library and speak with a business and economics student librarian.
