A number of our e-book databases have apps for accessing their content via Android or Apple devices. Instructions for the various databases are below.

Overdrive

The mobile app is available at http://app.overdrive.com/. Create a free Overdrive account using your email address or Facebook. Then follow the in-app instructions to add Brigham Young University as your library to search and download books to your device.

Books from EBSCO, ebrary, and Ebook Library (EBL)can be downloaded onto your mobile device through the mobile app Bluefire Reader.

EBSCO: see instructions for Android or Apple

ebrary: see http://support.ebrary.com/kb/download-device-nr/

EBL: You will still find the e-books through the library's website, but then when you click the Download button on the left side of the EBL page the content will be stored in Bluefire Reader for you to access offline for the duration of your checkout.

Safari Tech Books does not have an app that can access our Library content. However, they do have a mobile site that is optimized for smaller screenshttps://www.lib.byu.edu/cgi-bin/remoteauth.pl?url=http://m.proquest.safaribooksonline.com
