The best way to track a book "On Order" is to check the Library Catalog record occasionally. New books are sent in large shipments by our vendors so there is sometimes a bit of a wait for the Library to receive books on order.

As quickly as a new book arrives in the Library the "On-Order" message will change to "In-Process."

When the message changes to "In Process" it is possible to place a Hold on the book.

Processing could take a period of several weeks.

After processing is complete, those persons who have placed holds will be notified the book is available (in order, according to the date of their hold).
