If you are a currently registered BYU Independent Study student enrolled in a for credit university level class you have access to library resources.

Be sure to login to the library website using your BYU Independent Study netID and password.

Look for "Login" at the top of the Library Home page

After logging in, you will have access to all library resources.

Click on Guides, then choose a guide for your general research subject. There may be several guides to help you.

The guides include contact information for the Subject Librarian who is an expert in researching the subject. Don't hesitate to contact a Subject Librarian. They want to help you!

The Guide will also include links to databases & other resources for your subject: including background information, journals, books, periodical indexes, etc.

Many research sources will be available full text online. (again...be sure you are logged in to the website).
