There are two ways you may check out a book from another library:

1. Check out books with your BYU ID Card in person at other Utah academic libraries such as Utah Valley University, Utah State University, and the University of Utah. Go to the Utah Academic Library Consortium website for a list of current participating partner libraries.

For more information on in person checkout at other Utah libraries, contact the library you wish to check out from and ask how to set up library privileges as a member of the Utah Academic Library Consortium (UALC).

2. With our Interlibrary Loan service, we will borrow materials from other libraries for you whenever our library does not own them or they are not available for you to use.

We usually get an article within 2-3 business days and a book within 7-10 business days.

For more information, contact the Interlibrary Loan office at (801) 422-6344 or ill@byu.edu.
