Answer

Photographs housed in the L. Tom Perry Special Collections are searchable on the library website by name, place, subject or collection (named for the photographer or subject).

Please request to view photos one day in advance.

Photographs are kept in the cold vault and require 24 hours to warm up before viewing in the reading room

You will see a very interesting video showing the behind the scenes workings of Photo Archives.

Note:

Many Special Collections historical photographs are available online through the Special Collections Photograph Archives.
