Q

What if I notice damage in a book before I check it out?

I was looking through my books before I checked them out and I noticed there were a lot of highlighter and pen marks. I don't want to be blamed for that.

Answer

If you notice any damage in a book, please let the Circulation desk staff know before you check it out

They will place a "Previously Damaged" bookmark in your book so that when you return it you will not be charged for those damages.
