Q

I found a masters thesis on your website I want to download and print. How do I do that?

I can print one page at a time but can't see how to download the entire thesis or print it.

Answer

DOWNLOADING AND PRINTING ONLINE BYU THESES FROM LIBRARY WEBSITE - CONTENT DM
Here are a few tips:

1. Use Firefox as your browser. It seems to work better with formatting issues and view screens
2. You need Adobe Acrobat Reader downloaded on your computer. If you do not already have it you can download it from the following URL.http://get.adobe.com/reader/
3. Locate the thesis on the library website
4. Open the thesis: on the right hand side you should have two tabs "Thumbnails" and "Content." Click on "Content"
5. Scroll to the bottom of the "Content" list and click on "Printing Version (7MB, etc.)" This will start the download to your computer. It can take several minutes to download so be patient. These printing versions are Adobe Acrobat files and are usually large. Because of their large size, they may be difficult for you to download if you are on a dial up connection.
6. After the download is complete you will have an option to "Save to your Computer" or to "Print" You can do either or both.
